With this second haiku, I have decided that I will publish the haiku in this collection every Tuesday and Saturday.

The second haiku in this collection is also one I wrote after I returned from my trip to provide context for the ones I wrote in Viet Nam. The haiku is pretty self-evident. I was a tourist in my homeland I had fled quite a while ago. It’s something a lot of people living around me can’t claim, but sadly, it’s something far more people than need be in the world can claim. More sadly, it’s something a lot of people in the world can only partially claim, with hope it will be possible for them to return to their homelands one day.
