Viet Nam is generally referred to as a Communist country. Pfft! That’s more BS than there is in all the rice fields in the country, and then some!

No. It’s a dictatorship, even if not with a clear figurehead sort of dictator. The one party “so-called Communist” party does what they want, and a lot of it is based on greed. There’s no “equality” in their practice of governing, unlike what Communism should be, not that Communism would ever work in practice. Humans are creatures that try to get ahead like pretty much every other creature out there. Our “intelligence” to realize equality far falls short of our nature to continue what we have evolved to do, which is to get ahead, as well as to define what it means to have everybody be “equal”. But while true Communism is not attainable, it could certainly be better attempted than what the government in Viet Nam have done for decades. They fought to rid of corruption in the westernized government of South Viet Nam, and all they succeeded to do is create more than there ever were as people struggle to stay alive with bribery being a main force in their daily lives and economics. They achieved that and killing, torturing, lying and doing all kinds of other deplorable acts far more than any other government have ever done in the history of the country.
