Cloudy skies above
Soon will be filled with eagles –
As I relocate

Notes to this poem…
I had to get up early today to get over to Dartmouth to go do some nature photography of eagles at Sheffield Mills with a friend. While on the ferry, I was imagining what that would be like at Eagle Watch, with eagles soaring overhead. Looking up, there was only cloudy skies above me. Same big sky as would be at Sheffield Mills just over an hour’s drive away. However, difference would be is that I would have “relocated”, taking the perspective from the sky.
The F-series poems are part of a collection composed on my ferry rides across Halifax Harbour when the buses aren’t crossing the MacDonald bridge due to the Big Lift bridge redecking. This should keep happening until at least December 2016.
