There’s a universe
In everything –
If you look deep into it

Notes to this poem…
I can definitively state that everything I’ve brushed off in life as being shallow, uninteresting, mundane or similarly lacking substance in any way, I’ve been wrong about. I just needed to look deep into it and what or who is involved, whether people or Mother Nature or who or what ever, they would end up showing me a whole universe to be found in the topic!
What I need to think of it all as not being of enough interest to me, probably in comparison to other things out there of interest to me, of which there are so many. Or that it’s not of my nature or liking. However, I should definitely not think of it as being uninteresting or mundane as if it were.
The H-series poems comprise of haiku composed while I was not engaged in some activity during which I frequently composed poetry. That is why these are called the Inactive Haiku collection.
