Notes to this poem…
One of the 10 minute poses I did in my life drawing modeling today was the well-known, but not often done, admiring the ball you just hit as it sails out of the ball park. A 1 minute gesture drawing of it done a month ago is below, done by my friend Tom Y. It’s crude enough for lacking details that I didn’t think it warranted a warning like the previous poem with another, more detailed, nude of it. Mind you, Tom’s drawing is very beautiful in his selection of lines and their portrayal that was all I wanted.
I did this pose for much longer this time to try and get a more detailed version, which I have but there’s not need to post it as it’d be gratuitous. The above version did the job for referencing the pose.
While in that pose, I thought about whether it’d be more enjoyable to admire the home run you just hit in the nude, or clothed as all the ball players do. 🙂
Hey, it’s better than thinking of dirty stuff as it’s easy to do with people looking over the naked you for over an hour! lol
The N-series poems were composed while I posed nude for life drawing, being very still with excess mental capacity I must force myself to occupy with appropriate thoughts so nothing awkward would happen. 🙂
