The ginger ale I bottled
Looks like a really
Big urine sample

Notes to this poem…
I recently started using a Sodastream carbonation machine at home. I got some sample flavour packages that had some flavours I didn’t think I’d like, but got them anyway because they were at half price. Among the flavours was ginger ale, which I couldn’t remember the taste of but certainly knew I wasn’t fond of it, either. Otherwise, I’d have drank it over the years.
The ginger ale turned out all right. However, the way I stored it in used, clear Coke bottles made it look like it was just a large urine sample.
The H-series poems comprise of haiku composed while I was not engaged in some activity during which I frequently composed poetry. That is why these are called the Inactive Haiku collection.
I’ve got to find a better way to package the thing just for appearance’s sake. I don’t mind it, but carrying it around like at lunch? It doesn’t look like I’ve got very good taste for lunch. 🙂
