I’m going to sin –
Then beg forgiveness –
Rather than ask permission

Notes to this poem…
Just a spin on that expression it’s better to sin and beg forgiveness rather than ask permission (and presumably get rejected). I wasn’t trying to reinvent it as my own poem. Rather, I was making a decision to do something I’m sure lots of people would like and would be valued, without having to ask permission first. A few might not like it, but I don’t think the consequences are worth the risk of a prolonged discussion over what I effectively consider nothing and, to be frank, value the objections at about the same. That and the risk of rejection just for the sake of those few ruining it for everybody else. People just need to get over things and themselves in the world today!
Unfortunately, I can’t say what it is I’m doing is going to be very scandalous, or even all that interesting that anybody might care. However, it’s personal business so I’m keeping it that way. Anybody who thinks it otherwise, can deal with me directly. 🙂
The H-series poems comprise of haiku composed while I was not engaged in some activity during which I frequently composed poetry. That is why these are called the Inactive Haiku collection.
