Notes to this poem…

I try to live on as close to half my income after taxes as I can, without depriving myself of the joys of life. It’s a constant balance and battle between discipline and a little luxury, or maybe better put, gauge on value for my money. I work hard at it, even though with such a buffer, I don’t have to when you see how much debt almost everybody is in! I enjoy the challenge, though, even if it sometimes becomes tiring.

The H-series poems comprise of haiku composed while I was not engaged in some activity during which I frequently composed poetry. That is why these are called the Inactive Haiku collection.
