Notes to this poem…

We’ve lost a lot of people in 2016 who are in Halls of Fame of the reason for which they were famous. I can at least name David Bowie, Prince, Glenn Frey as part of the Eagles, Muhammad Ali, Mike Wallace of 60 Minutes (not football player), and Gordie Howe just today to inspire me to think about this on the big picture scale. I’m sure I’ve probably missed a few.

If The Voice show had a Hall of Fame, I’m sure they’d put Christina Grimmie into it as well. So sad…  #christinagrimmie

In how people get inducted into the Hall of Fame, I linguistically played on the phrasal verb about induction and wrote this haiku about the ultimate induction into the final Hall of Fame.

The H-series poems comprise of haiku composed while I was not engaged in some activity during which I frequently composed poetry. That is why these are called the Inactive Haiku collection.
