Smaller waistline but
Same measurements otherwise –
Means I look more like –
A woman with more of an
Hourglass figure than before

Notes to this poem…
Despite eating McDonald’s, I seemed to have lost at least an inch on my waistline. I need to do one notch tighter on my belt of late despite not losing any weight. I’ve changed up some exercise routines to involve a tad more upper body work, and am more active with warmer weather. I guess what happened was I lost some weight on the waist but gained a little in the upper body.
Both my hips and chest had been larger than my waist before all this happened. I basically had the figure of a woman with a small but hard bust, lol. With that waistline now even smaller, I look even more womanly in my silhouette with a more accentuated hourglass figure than before. However, I know the definition of hourglass from sewing and technically, I need breast implants before I’ll ever reach hourglass. 🙂
The poems titled Tanka, followed by a number, are tanka composed while I was not engaged in some activity during which I frequently composed poetry. That is why these are called the Inactive Tanka collection.
