Big Lift Ferry Poem F145

I’m thankful for
Gravity today –
Preventing a big mishap

Notes to this poem…

I slowly jogged down to the ferry with my backpack on my back. On top is a small pocket where I had a macro lens probably worth around $500. I had forgotten to close the pocket but gravity kept the lens from falling out, pushing the top down deep enough into the bag it didn’t shake loose!

I found out on the ferry once I sat down and took off the bag to put at my feet!

The F-series poems are part of a collection composed on my ferry rides across Halifax Harbour when the buses aren’t crossing the MacDonald bridge due to the Big Lift bridge redecking. This should keep happening until at least December 2016.
