Big Lift Ferry Poem F160

My wingspan is expanding –
From asking why and
Flaunting to Angels

Notes to this poem…

What happens when you look to the sky enough to ask “why”, and to flaunt your accomplishments, usually in the face of someone else the way an athlete accomplishes and looks up into the stand to egg them on. I imagine my guardian angels in the sky when I do either of these actions, which I seem to have been doing a lot of lately! It’s usually in alternating order of asking why something ridiculous was happening, and then flaunting my response that could be along the lines of a fist pump to something requiring about a fifth of a fist.

Better rush if done in big sky space like the ferry upper deck, in spite of what anybody might think of you. 🙂

The F-series poems are part of a collection composed on my ferry rides across Halifax Harbour when the buses aren’t crossing the MacDonald bridge due to the Big Lift bridge redecking. This should keep happening until at least December 2016.
