Haiku H134

A new level of
Self-restraint unlocked –
Keeping frustrations quiet

Copyright by Minh Tan on listed dated of completion.

Notes to this poem…

I’m congratulating myself for being able to keep my mouth shut for a fair while now on some incompetence in my life that has frustrated me to no ends! I would not have been able to keep quiet for this long before, but I am realizing some people just aren’t even worth dealing with in matters important to me. I had learned this lesson for less important matters decades ago. A deadline by which I could remove these people and issues from my life really helped motivate me. I think that was the secret.

The H-series poems comprise of haiku composed while I was not engaged in some activity during which I frequently composed poetry. That is why these are called the Inactive Haiku collection.
