Notes to this poem…

Most times I’m on my own and I’d probably prefer it that way, but not all the time. The chance encounters tend to be with people I hadn’t seen in a while so they’re great, too, especially for updates on what’s going on in their lives. However, I can see friends in many other situations than the ferry so I’ll take my ferry time for making poetry to share with the rest of the world. 🙂

The “peace” I’m talking about is me keeping my mouth shut, lol. It’s also an inner peace of some time to myself, even if surrounded by crowds. Mind you, I tend to engage somebody in conversation when there are crowds unless I have my head phones on. “Peace” indeed! 🙂

The F-series poems are part of a collection composed on my ferry rides across Halifax Harbour when the buses aren’t crossing the MacDonald bridge due to the Big Lift bridge redecking. This should keep happening until at least December 2016.
