Haiku H142

General meeting –
With myself to improve life

Copyright by Minh Tan on listed dated of completion.

Notes to this poem…

Half way through the year, I always take a little time to evaluate what went right, what went wrong, and what could be improved… and how, of course. Biggest change I need to make right away is to be more disciplined and ruthless with how I spend my time. Less of hanging around for a little tennis here or there, which is my biggest leisure time use at the moment that doesn’t provide the greatest value for its returns. I will target my tennis much more in the coming months, go home earlier from the tennis club, and still have half the long evening / early night to do other things I want to get around doing.

Probably less poetry as well cause it takes me a lot of time to post and annotate it. Or maybe I’ll just stop annotating! This meeting’s just starting. 🙂

The H-series poems comprise of haiku composed while I was not engaged in some activity during which I frequently composed poetry. That is why these are called the Inactive Haiku collection.
