Big Lift Ferry Poem F199

Missed ferry by four metres –
They wouldn’t let me
Jump or swing to board

Copyright by Minh Tan on listed dated of completion.

Notes to this poem…

As I got in sight of the terminal doors to the ferry, they were half closed. The guy there wouldn’t let me run through just flashing my transit pass he has seen enough times this month. He’d have remembered me cause no late evening Asians carry tennis racquet goes that way on the ferry, ever!

Just gave me more time to write more poems.

The F-series poems are part of a collection composed on my ferry rides across Halifax Harbour when the buses aren’t crossing the MacDonald bridge due to the Big Lift bridge redecking. This should keep happening until at least December 2016.
