Idiot texting –
At the ferry bow amidst
The harbour’s beauty –
How others see me when I
Type in a finished poem

Notes to this poem…
See Big Lift Ferry Poem 209 for version when I compose a poem. To avoid losing a poem from forgetfulness, or having to recapture its detail later rather than forgetting what I composed entirely, I type a finished poem on to my phone as soon as it’s finished being composed. I just look like I’m texting as the vast majority of people would be doing when seen by others. 🙂
The collection will mean something to the world one day, and then they’ll all realize that idiot texting wasn’t such an idiot after all! Well, I might be an idiot composing poetry instead of enjoying the ride, lol. However, it’s for the world would be my reason for making that sacrifice… and I think the world is worth it, don’t you? 🙂
The F-series poems are part of a collection composed on my ferry rides across Halifax Harbour when the buses aren’t crossing the MacDonald bridge due to the Big Lift bridge redecking. This should keep happening until at least December 2016.
