Notes to this poem…

I’m tired enough I might be going to bed before midnight for the first time in a long time. Yet, I can’t help but think of all the people in Turkey with the military coup going on there. It’s not technically a war but it might be the start of one if things get real ugly.

The H-series poems comprise of haiku composed while I was not engaged in some activity during which I frequently composed poetry. That is why these are called the Inactive Haiku collection.
