Big Lift Ferry Poem F224

I should learn to swim –
So I can get home faster
When the bridge is closed –
On weekends when the ferry
Runs just every half hour

Notes to this poem…

Seriously, Halifax Transit. During the summer when everybody is out on the weekends, every half hour wastes a lot of people’s time!

The F-series poems are part of a collection composed on my ferry rides across Halifax Harbour when the buses aren’t crossing the MacDonald bridge due to the Big Lift bridge redecking. This should keep happening until at least December 2016.
