Working off my fast food meal –
Before I have it –
Rather than after

Notes to this poem…

Most people eat junk food and then think about working it off. I do enough exercise that I sometimes take it on credit to work it off before I eat it. Allowing yourself a “treat” is another way to think of it, but usually what I’m consuming I’d hardly call a “treat”. 🙂

The F-series poems are part of a collection composed on my ferry rides across Halifax Harbour when the buses aren’t crossing the MacDonald bridge due to the Big Lift bridge redecking. This should keep happening until at least December 2016.
