Running Poem R031

For diversity –
Don’t we need racists, sexists –
And other bigots –
Among us like all others?
Just not nearly as many

Notes to this poem…

A philosophical question, as much as I dislike racists, sexists and bigots. But if you can’t argue against it, then minimizing their numbers would be the way to go if you can’t completely remove them, which is another philosophical question since I do firmly believe we’re all a big discriminatory in some way. We can only try to minimize its frequency and impact in our lives and on the lives of others.

The R-series poems were composed while I was out running, in an effort to find time for writing in a life that is always getting busier.
