Haiku H184

Rainy Vancouver –
Just as I remembered it –
Some things never change

Copyright by Minh Tan on listed dated of completion.

Notes to this poem…

There was a moment of rain later on my first day in Vancouver on this trip. It was enough to seem like it would never clear up. However, it did quickly enough, just as I remembered Vancouver from my time living there in the mid to late 1990s. I wrote the haiku in the middle of that downpour, though, not sure if what had been a beautiful sunny day since I landed in the morning was gone for the day.

The H-series poems comprise of haiku composed while I was not engaged in some activity during which I frequently composed poetry. That is why these are called the Inactive Haiku collection.
