Cruise Poem C17

Alone with the stars –
On the cruise ship Helideck –
For an hour each night –
Lets me dream before I sleep –
Much funner than counting sheep

Notes to this poem…

Yes, I could have been in my room trying to count sheep to try to get to sleep, or dreaming under starry skies before I slept. Guess which one I thought was better? 🙂

These cruise poems were written on my first ever cruise between September 2nd and 9th, from Seward, Alaska to Vancouver, British Columbia. Most were written at night on my limited down time from family, in the dark of the Helideck at the front of the ship, often alone beneath the night skies of Alaska.
