Cloudy valley in
Sunny mountain range –
Does this happen often there?

Notes to this poem…

Flying over the Rockies Mountains, this part of the range was sunny. However, there was a valley that was filled with clouds, like a pond filled with water on a rough terrain at a smaller vertical scale. The weather in that valley would have been drastically different from the rest of the mountain range. I wondered looking at that valley if this happened often, and how long those clouds might stay? I just didn’t take the time to put the other question into poetic format. I was more curious about the frequency rather than duration because clouds can’t possibly last that long with sunshine directly above them for some parts of the day.

The A-series poems comprise of poems composed while I was airborne, in flight.
