Hello Halifax –
Do you remember me from
Just three weeks ago?
When I gained national fame
But am now unknown again

Notes to this poem…

The context of this national fame thing can be found in annotations for Big Lift Ferry Poems F294 and F295. I was on the national news and had been recognized in Vancouver for it, thousands of miles away from home! I left with the city buzzing about me, sort of. Tens of thousands of people for sure if the 107K views on the video were any indication. 🙂

However, come back to Halifax on my own, from getting on the final flight to Halifax with lots of people returning home, living here, nobody recognized me. That’s just fine, but I was just reflecting here seeing the city from the air coming in to land.

The A-series poems comprise of poems composed while I was airborne, in flight.
