One Stanza Poem O177

Grey and white clouds –
Sun burned and pure –
Dirty and clean –
Man and God made

Notes to this poem…

Something I noticed looking out the window on a long flight across Canada from Vancouver to Toronto. It was true on that flight as the only clouds not white were man made from jet exhaust, which would interact more with the sun from its content. Otherwise, storm clouds are also grey, of course.

The O-series of poems are one stanza poems composed before I got onto writing haiku and tanka, and short poetry while in action or traveling by select means like plane or ferry. These poems are 3-9 lines long with at least one rhyming couplet, and not of the short forms just mentioned. For the sake of elegance, I just called the collection One.
