Big Lift Ferry Poem F333

Armada of spaceship clouds –
Slowly moving south –
Across eastern skies

Notes to this poem…

From my new job and cubicle that comes with it, I’m in a corner spot with floor to ceiling windows, looking out on the 11th floor that is pretty high for where it is in Halifax. It’s like I’m in a spaceship when looking at batches of clouds, rather than one big sheet sort of clouds. Those batches of clouds filling the sky reminds me of some movie scenes with armadas of spaceship either in a busy port, or getting ready to go somewhere. Since those clouds move all in the same direction, it’s usually the latter. 🙂

The F-series poems are part of a collection composed on my ferry rides across Halifax Harbour when the buses aren’t crossing the MacDonald bridge due to the Big Lift bridge redecking. This should keep happening until at least December 2016.
