Is one thing I do –
That none of my friends care for

Notes to this poem…
A lot of poets seek out groups or similar friends who share their passion for it. I don’t. I’ve only ever cared to read what I want, and write what I want. I have this blog more to keep a record that’s harder to lose than my hard drive, back up memory stick, or such, rather than to show it off. It’s nice the poetry can be found by people but I can honestly tell you, aside from a literal few readers, despite the 180 or whatever number of followers I have, next to nobody even among them cares, never mind friends I know.
Ironically, the people who may care most about content on this blog are some ex-colleagues with fragile egos and emotional issues who stalk my online activities in hopes of finding things that could get me in trouble with my employer’s social media policies. They’re neither good at masking their actions nor their online presence. My karma has taken care of them pretty well with opportunities in life which have allowed me to not only be more liberal with my activities, but also with greater success. 🙂
The H-series poems comprise of haiku composed while I was not engaged in some activity during which I frequently composed poetry. That is why these are called the Inactive Haiku collection.
