Notes to this poem…
Daylight Savings Time (DST) is absolutely garbage for a concept, and a huge inconvenience to a lot of people. More than those it benefits, for sure. It’s time to abandon it and it’s good to see more places considering abandoning it.
For places yet to abandon DST, an effective protest could be staged just by having people do things on regular time. They could really break society’s operational clock without breaking society cause everything would still be done as it were, just an hour earlier.
Then we wouldn’t also have to put up with that crap of adjusting back in the spring that screws people over again!
The T-series poems are tanka composed while I was not engaged in some activity during which I frequently composed poetry. That is why these are called the Inactive Tanka collection.
