Aren’t rich enough to be
A Republican –
Yet their false hopes to be rich
Keeps the weeds in the garden

Notes to this poem…
I wanted to post this Ferry poem now for timeliness, despite it being out of sequence among the many I had not yet annotated to post.
All Republicans generally do in office is get America into deeper trouble, especially financially, by getting a few people richer at the expense of many others, printing money and such. Then come the Democrats to fix what they can of it, cause some is irreparable very sadly. The moment things seem OK again, they vote the Republicans back in again in hopes of becoming rich with better odds than the next person, to fulfill their American dream faster than the others. American Republicans themselves are the biggest deterrent to what Americans could be as a nation and people.
This time, though, they’ve gone too far and may end up losing more than they’ll ever get back, including that world number one superpower status.
The F-series poems are part of a collection composed on my ferry rides across Halifax Harbour when the buses aren’t crossing the MacDonald bridge due to the Big Lift bridge redecking. This should keep happening until at least December 2016.
