Notes to this poem…
Super moon night and I planned a run to observe the biggest one in about 70 years! It wasn’t super big here in Halifax, but it was beautiful to see lots of people out waiting for it, and it was beautiful as moon rises always are.
It was a beautiful, albeit sometimes rather sad runs if you had read the handful of short poems prior to this which I had also composed on this run. However, I didn’t want it to end, but was running out of real estate where I could enjoy the view, so I turned to carefully run backwards along some straightaways on the Halifax waterfront boardwalk. 🙂
The R-series poems were composed while I was out running, in an effort to find time for writing in a life that is always getting busier.
