Notes to this poem…
I had written a lot of short poems this year, and spent a lot of time annotating them as well. I was thinking this in November when I was over 50 poems behind for posting. Now that I’m annotating in December and am almost caught up, I have committed to doing this in 2017 as explained in Haiku H203.
The R-series poems were composed while I was out running, in an effort to find time for writing in a life that is always getting busier.
