Big Lift Ferry Poem F369

Wet from the rain in the sky –
And harbour water
Splashing overboard

Notes to this poem…

In this light northeaster storm ferry ride, I stayed on the upper deck and got wet from, both, rain from the sky and ocean water splashing high up and blown into me. 🙂

It’s been over a year since I’ve been on a ferry ride where I got wet from sea water splashing overboard. This was just a mist, though. Some days, it really comes up and overboard to give you a drenching!

The F-series poems are part of a collection composed on my ferry rides across Halifax Harbour when the buses aren’t crossing the MacDonald bridge due to the Big Lift bridge redecking. This should keep happening until at least December 2016.
