Started out so well –

Notes to this poem…

2016 started out really well for me with the Denver Broncos winning the Super Bowl, letting one of my favourite athletes of all time, Peyton Manning, go out on top and answering a few Super Bowl legacy questions about his career. However, after that, a lot of things just completely went to Hell. That includes that 8-11 election, all the build-up and far worse, fall out from it.

A lot of famous people I liked also passed away this year. It’ll only get worse in terms of famous people cause more people are known by the masses these days than decades ago, and many of them are baby boomers dying off. However, I liked a lot of the people who died this year, and liked that one died this year in that inFidel!

The H-series poems comprise of haiku composed while I was not engaged in some activity during which I frequently composed poetry. That is why these are called the Inactive Haiku collection.
