Notes to this poem…
I wrote way too many poems this year, and spent way too much time annotating them. I’ve been catching up for at least the past four months, if you hadn’t noticed in following and seeing posts out of order and not matching the poem written date. Much of the writing was out of spite, though, for stalking colleagues who had issues with my freedom to express myself and their interpretation of corporate social media policy. Like anybody really cared with how few people read my poetry. It was like the third middle finger to them in addition to the two I have. But that’ll be enough for now. I’ll deal with them rather than tolerate their complaints in due time. 😉
I’ll have a lot more on my mind next year, though, to keep my mind from wandering to be writing poetry. But if I still do, maybe I just won’t annotate them. That’s what takes me the most time, and time won’t be something I’ll have much to spare next year.
The H-series poems comprise of haiku composed while I was not engaged in some activity during which I frequently composed poetry. That is why these are called the Inactive Haiku collection.
Gracias! 🙂
