Skating Poem S040

Can art created
With Dollar Store bought supplies
Ever be worth much?

Notes to this poem…

I intend to be making some drawing type art for my place, as well as some people, this year. Looking around for supplies, especially paper for size, I found some of what would suffice nicely at the Dollar Store for a dollar or less, actually, unlike most items in the store that is more than a dollar. But it made me think if no matter how good the art, if it might ever be worth much given the supplies were so cheap, and from a known cheap source? 🙂

I’d like to think so, but it had better be worth much first or else the snobby arts establishment will snub their noses at it. Discovered later and it becomes an amazing fact on top of the art, though. THAT is how it works, folks! 🙂

The S-series poems were composed while I was out skating on the Halifax Emera Skating Oval, to squeeze in writing time in a life that is always getting busier.
