Mine would be Feeling’ Good, by Nina Simone, but hopefully in a surprising kind of way like this girl sung it!

 

I heard this song for the first time through this video at the end of 2016 and I thought as I prepared for 2017, my year was gonna be like this! 😉

So far, it’s been that way! 🙂

The S-series poems were composed while I was out skating on the Halifax Emera Skating Oval, to squeeze in writing time in a life that is always getting busier.
