A Drugged Up Christmas (Parody Lyrics)

My parody lyrics contain strong doses of my edgy sense of humour. If you don’t like that sort of thing, please don’t keep on reading or just enjoy the original version of the song parodied below. đŸ™‚

Thank you.

Jack Frost roasting on an open fire
Bed bugs nipping at your bum
The Christmas blues being sung by a choir
And folks messed up like Donald Trump
Everybody knows a turkey and some fentanyl
Help to keep ev’ryone high
Addicts who are craving fentanyl
Will find it hard to sleep tonight

They know the dealer’s on his way
He’s loaded lots of crack and needles on his tray
And every addict’s child is gonna spy
To see if drugged up, adults can really fly

And so I’m offering this simple phrase
To addicts one to ninety-nine
Although it’s been said many times, many ways
Don’t get too high, and die

They know the dealer’s on his way
He’s loaded lots of crack and needles on his tray
And every addict’s child is gonna spy
To see if drugged up, adults can really fly

And so I’m offering this simple phrase
To addicts one to ninety-nine
Although it’s been said many times, many ways

Don’t get too high, and die
Don’t get too high, and die

Notes to this poem…

This is the seventh set of parody lyrics I have written for Christmas carols, just because I got tired of singing the same old, same old, songs year after year. It also livens up the Christmas parties. I don’t know why I’ve never posted them here as well as on my main blog, since it is poetry in a way, but I will in the coming weeks and link them all via a Parody Lyrics category.
