Notes to this poem…
This is not a personal relationship poem. It’s just a message for some who doubt me and are doing me wrong in different capacities, who still won’t acknowledge it. It’s not a threat, though. For what they’ve done me wrong and/or doubted me, I still do it and will still do it so that it’ll keep on impacting them. I’ll just be even better at it so it’ll affect them even more, which will make them like it less. It’s just a factual warning, if you will. 🙂
The F-series poems are part of a collection composed on my ferry rides across Halifax Harbour when the buses aren’t crossing the MacDonald bridge due to the Big Lift bridge redecking. This should keep happening until at least December 2016.
