Notes to this poem…
Just thinking about a certain someone this afternoon. I wasn’t sure why I liked her laugh so much considering I probably would have found it quite annoying if someone had just played it for me to ask to rate it. Not that anybody would do that but I personally love listening to people laugh and analyze it. It’s not only a joyful thing to keep an ear out for, even if I don’t like the laugh, but fun to think about in analyzing it. To be clear, though, even if I don’t like the laugh, that doesn’t mean I dislike it. All laughter is the best medicine. Some of it just goes down more easily.
A gentle self-reminder that love is not logical. 🙂
