June bugs in July –
What will I find in August?

Notes to this poem…

I don’t know why I didn’t finish this poem in July when I started it with the first two lines. I found it in December and the logical train of thought of what I’d have written in July when I started it would be a question for what I’d find in August to go with the monthly progression. There is such a things as a “July fly”. However, that seems to be a very informal name even local to some small areas rather than anything more common, so I opted not to write it into the poem and leave it with a question.

The H-series poems comprise of haiku composed while I was not engaged in some activity during which I frequently composed poetry. That is why these are called the Inactive Haiku collection.
