Notes to this poem…
It was an injury I had for over a year, and I am not exactly sure why. However, with more running and less of things like tennis on clay courts where I slid a lot side to side, which may have been a cause, it’s mostly gone now just 4 months after having written this poem! I annotated this poem to post 3 months after having written it.
The H-series poems comprise of haiku composed while I was not engaged in some activity during which I frequently composed poetry. That is why these are called the Inactive Haiku collection.
