Notes to this poem…
A woman I know who is a very nice person, but not the least attractive to me, liked me once. I kept my distance to avoid being pursued. However, on this occasion, I saw her with someone so that meant she wouldn’t be taking interest, and I wouldn’t have to push it away. 🙂
