Harbourwalk Poem W036

On the Harbourwalk –
There are few who walk alone –
And even fewer –
Who write poetry –
Two more ways –
In which I am in –
The minority

Notes to this poem…

I’m a statistical deviant in so many ways it’s not funny. There’s no official data that proves this but I think anyone who’s ever walked the Harbourwalk in Halifax, or most popular waterfront spaces where people are out enjoying themselves… or any space where people are out enjoying themselves en masse, and what I wrote of myself on the Harbourwalk would probably hold true.

The W-series poems comprise mostly of haiku or tanka composed during walks I took on the portion of Halifax’s waterfront known as the Harbourwalk, in 2018, when the Seabridge was in place.
