Notes to this poem…

Nice concept, but it’d have to be at least thousands for me. I’m probably getting near a thousand I I still have to stop to count syllables to make sure the thought I had for a haiku can fit into some 5, 5, 7 syllablic variation of three lines. I’ve actually had over a thousand haiku form poems by now if you count tanka in with them, which have the first three lines in one haiku format of 5-7-5 syllables.

I don’t actually feel I’ll ever become even close to fluent to speaking in the haiku form, to be honest. 🙂

The W-series poems comprise mostly of haiku or tanka composed during walks I took on the portion of Halifax’s waterfront known as the Harbourwalk, in 2018, when the Seabridge was in place.
