Harbourwalk Sea Bridge –
Barrier between
Calm and slightly choppy seas

Notes to this poem…

It’s enough to break the choppy seas in the harbour and calm it down to almost lake calmness on the other side where construction of wharves are taking place. The sea on the day this was written was a bit choppier than that seen in the photo below.

The W-series poems comprise mostly of haiku or tanka composed during walks I took on the portion of Halifax’s waterfront known as the Harbourwalk, in 2018, when the Seabridge was in place.
