After a month off –

Notes to this poem…

I did not eat anything that was precooked or made for me in May, coming in under $60 for all food and drink due to having had some non-perishables stashed in my place already. Not having eaten out at all, that meant no McDonald’s, which I craved walking past it often on my various routes around downtown and the Halifax peninsula. With the month turning today, I made sure to get myself some and loved it all! 🙂

The W-series poems comprise mostly of haiku or tanka composed during walks I took on the portion of Halifax’s waterfront known as the Harbourwalk, in 2018, when the Seabridge was in place.
