Harbourwalk Poem W081

Narcissus had seen –
Nothing as beautiful as
His own self until –
He saw my blood works results –
And blushed the same tone of red

Notes to this poem…

It feels really awesome to get blood works results like that at any age, never mind the age of 45. 🙂

The W-series poems comprise mostly of haiku or tanka composed during walks I took on the portion of Halifax’s waterfront known as the Harbourwalk, in 2018, when the Seabridge was in place.
