Harbourwalk Poem W174

Feeling immortal –
After life in the mountains –
Now back by the sea –
Having viewed life from above
The clouds on peaks summited

Notes to this poem…

Not to mention probably undetectable, and thus placebo, effect of higher oxygen concentrations at sea level now. Was in Alberta’s national parks at about 2000-2500m (6600-8200 ft, well over mile high) for over a week!

The W-series poems comprise mostly of haiku or tanka composed during walks I took on the portion of Halifax’s waterfront known as the Harbourwalk, during the warmer months of 2018 & 2019, when the Seabridge was in place.
