Harbourwalk Poem W214

Must find out where all
The pianos in town the
Public can play are –
So I can go play them all –
Concert around the city

Notes to this poem…

In the past few summers, we have had public pianos around town, which partially motivated me enough to finally learn some to be able to play. James Rhodes and his promise of teaching people Bach in 6 weeks was the other motivation, a SMART goal that is clearly identified with a timeline.

The W-series poems comprise mostly of haiku or tanka composed during walks I took on the portion of Halifax’s waterfront known as the Harbourwalk, during the warmer months of 2018 & 2019, when the Seabridge was in place.
